8 DUI Arrests In Elmhurst: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police made eight DUI arrests. Here is information from the reports: Alvin Willis, 52, of Franklin Park, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Friday at York and St. Charles on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, DUI (drugs), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured vehicle, disobeying a traffic control signal, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, officers responded to a crash involving a wrong-way driver. Nicole Jefferson, 46, of Calumet City, was arrested about 4 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Lake on charges of DUI, speeding, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana by a driver. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Jefferson was in possession of ecstasy. Samantha Bavaro, 29, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 11 p.m. Sunday at North and Melrose on charges of DUI, possession of marijuana by a driver and no headlights when required. She was released on bond. Daniel Davie, 50, of Hoffman Estates, was arrested about 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles and Fair on charges of DUI, no rear license plate light and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. Anna Warias, 33, of Schaumburg, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and St. Charles on charges of DUI, endangering the life of a child, improper lane usage and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. She was released on bond. According to a police report, officers stopped Warias after getting a 911 call about an intoxicated driver. Anna Villanueva, 21, of Posen, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at North and Shady on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lighting and improper lane usage. She was released on bond. According to a police report, an open bottle of beer and a bottle of whiskey were found in Villanueva's car. Vivian L. Jarrin, 31, of River Grove, was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday at Fremont and York on a charge of aggravated DUI. Jarrin was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Domingo Hernandez, 42, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested shortly before midnight Monday at Route 83 and Roosevelt on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
