Wiener Dog Race Returns To Downtown Mooresville For 2021

MOORESVILLE, NC — Race City will soon be going to the dogs as zippy Dachshunds vie for glory and treats in downtown Mooresville during the 2021 Wiener Races. This year's event will take place Saturday, Oct. 2 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the grassy lot on the corner of East Center Street and North Church Street in downtown Mooresville. Here's what organizers are saying about the event:"This entertaining, charitable event helps raise awareness and donations for Lake Norman Humane and is open for the public to attend at no cost! This year we have some awesome new categories and opportunities to show off your pup if you want to register him or her to compete. Otherwise, just join us for the fun, the food, and the festivities!"
