VALHALLA, NY — Westchester County will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the county's September 11th Memorial in Valhalla — The Rising. The ceremony this year will include the unveiling of a memorial dedicated to the first responders who lost their lives from 9/11-related illnesses. It will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kensico Dam Plaza and will be live-streamed on Westchester County's Facebook page. The Rising incorporates the names of all Westchester residents who died on Sept. 11, 2001, the communities in which they lived and a quote about them from their loved ones.
