I’m part of the African Chamber of Commerce Las Vegas and we’re putting together a 2 day African Cultural Festival at the end of this month. Afrikfest is an annual 2 day festival held by the African Chamber of Commerce on September 24th & 25th. Part of the festival entertainment is a fashion show showcasing fashions from African designers within the diaspora. Friday the 24th is the first day of the festival and is the day of the business summit & that’ll be the day when we’d have a fashion show. We’d need all the models there for about 4-6 hours and within that time each model would be assigned to a booth of one of our designers and will be live modeling the clothes as customers shop their booth. Then there will also be a fashion show held for all the guests of the event. Saturday the 25th is when the Servers would be needed for our Gala for assistance in the dining room serving our guests. We will need to meet the week before the event in order to do a run through/practice and more information for that will be released later. All models & servers will be compensated with $100 cash for the event/day and meals will be provided as well.
