JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A woman died Friday after she was struck by a vehicle on I-65. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said the woman, who has not been identified, was walking on the interstate near Green Springs Highway when she was hit. The incident occurred just after 3 p.m., Friday. Birmingham police have not released further details on the incident.
