Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse Technician Local electronic manufacturing company is hiring a full-time shipping, receiving, and warehouse technician. Applicant must have good work habits with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy. New hire will be working in a busy warehouse environment, handling numerous documents, and have continual interaction with company staff. Experience in the duties of the position is desired but not required. Position can be fully trained. Wage is based on experience. Job Duties: • Receiving Inspections, verifying counts, and entering received product into company computer system. • In-process inspections, final inspections and control of non-conforming item used in production of electronic components, cables and printed circuit boards. • Packaging product in boxes or on pallets for shipping or delivery to customer locations. This includes computer or phone-based interfacing with package/freight companies for the shipping of finished products. Also includes face to face interaction with customer receiving departments while delivering product to local facilities. • Invoicing of product shipped or delivered. • Monitoring of stock levels and usages. • Performing of cycle counts of warehouse inventory. • Handling and organization of a wide variety of computer tasks and related documents associated the responsibilities of the position. • Operation of loading devices such are forklifts, pallet jacks and other mechanical devices. • Many other duties as assigned, including facility and vehicle maintenance and up-keep. Job Skills: • Knowledge of warehousing functions and operational procedures. • Understanding of inventory control principles. • Familiarity of the use of part numbers and lot number controls. • Use of company computer inventory control system and Microsoft Office programs. • Proficient with interfacing with customers, vendors and freight company personnel. • Skilled in forklift use and loading operations. • Knowledgeable of OSHA warehousing regulations • Valid driver license Contact Garry Gallegos by phone or email resume to: [email protected] 505-821-1122
