Cannabis Production Employee

Medicine Farm Botanicals, a cannabis company working out of Eugene, has an immediate need for one (1) part-time entry-level production employee. Employee will be required to weigh and measure various items, produce cannabis products accurately following a recipe and schedule, accurately fill out paperwork regarding production yields, package produced items, clean the production area, as well as various other production duties (washing dishes, loading product into delivery vehicle, unloading supplies, etc.). Job Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time (2-3 hours at a time) Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely Must be able to bend, lift, move, and work in a small area Good hygiene is a must; cleanliness is very important to our production process Must be able to fill out paperwork neatly and accurately Must have a current Oregon Marijuana Worker’s Permit in hand (cannot be obtained quickly) Must have a current Oregon Food Handler’s Permit in hand (can be obtained online within 24 hours) Kitchen experience is a plus Hours will be 16-24 a week (2-3 days per week), based on production schedule. The work schedule is normally Tues-Thurs (but we can be flexible), from 9 am – 5 pm (this is less flexible). Some days may end earlier, but never earlier than 3 pm. Days may go longer, but these are rare. We’re looking for somebody to start on October 12th. Important: Applicant is required to have a personal motorized vehicle and valid driver’s license. Production will take place at 2 different facilities, and applicant will be required to drive to either building, possibly from one building to the other during the day. Because of the distance and the items transported, bicycles/mopeds/motorcycles will not be considered acceptable transportation. Please send resumes to the Craigslist email on this page.
