‘Off The Strip’ is an eight week, all inclusive, and audience participated singing competition supporting the arts community in Los Angeles. We create a program for great singers to showcase their talents to a large audience while gaining insight about ways to work the music industry. From our previous home in West Hollywood to our current residency in Downtown LA, ‘Off The Strip’ aims to establish a beacon and platform for musicians all throughout the city. This year, contestants will have the opportunity to perform alongside our amazing house band and have the chance to win $10,000! Plus, an original record performed by the winner will be professionally produced and arranged by our music partners; in addition to a single-release party of the record hosted at 10 ½. Guests will be given one token upon entry with the option to choose which contestant they believe deserves their vote at the end of the night. Along with audience participation, Off The Strip will have our cast of super star artists give a Golden Token each week to one of the contestants they feel deserves their vote. Over the course of seven weeks, each contestant will add up their weekly totals to give a cumulative number and the 3 contestants with the highest totals at the end of the seventh week will continue into the Finale. For the Finale, the total number of tokens per contestant FOR THAT NIGHT ONLY will determine the winner of the competition. Audition Requirements: • Must be available between September 22, 2021 – November 19, 2021 • Must be able to sing with a live band • Must audition with an original song as well as a cover • Must audition a cappella or with one instrument, no singing to track • If auditioning with an instrument, please bring all connections you will need for audition • Must be 21+ • Solo singers only, No bands
