Crate builder / Packer Full time crate builder and packer needed for well established Bicycle Manufacturer in Azusa. Job duties include crate construction, care for and handling of Family Bikes. • Must have 2 years experience in work with wood and building crates JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Crater must have existing carpentry skills with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, and ability to take instruction, communicate clearly, then work independently. • Candidate must be able to take appropriate care in high-value warehouse environment. • Forklift skills a plus, but not required.. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for the fabrication of specific types of crates and boxes for shipment. • Ability to read and process crate designs to given specifications. • Safely operate power tools and related equipment to manufacture individually designed wood crates for the handling, packing, and shipping bicycles. • Prepare insulation, cushioning foams and inner packing materials according to a variety of design specifications. • Perform shop maintenance, safety inspections, and other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. • Participate in training in the areas of shop safety and production PAY: $14 - $17 per hour Full time, 8AM-4:30PM Monday - Friday
