Harrisburg Wall & Flooring is looking to hire individuals who are eager to work and learn to be flooring installers. Harrisburg Wall & Flooring have been serving the Harrisburg areas and surrounding communities for 75 years. We are looking for enthusiastic, driven persons to help us carry on the traditions that we have continued through multiple generations. We are interested in people with prior experience in installation of carpet, vinyl, hard wood, laminate and ceramic tile to lead an install crew. If you don’t have experience but a willing to learn and work well with others, we will train you. We will show you the proper methods of installation of all types of flooring. You will be trained by installers with decades of experience. We would pay you hourly and can provide you with a company van to work out of. We welcome subcontractors as well. We want to hire the right persons to help promote the values traditions we represent here at Harrisburg Wall & Flooring and we hope that you will join us! Duties will include: 1. Lead or provide support in installation team. 2. Learn, follow proper techniques for installation of residential and commercial products. 3. Deliver material to jobsites. 4. Properly spread adhesives, mix thinset motar and grouts. 5. Keep jobsites neat clean, free of debris. 6. Keep customers happy with a positive attitude and work ethic. 7. Keep clothes well maintained. (you will be provided company work T-shirts) 8. Be punctual on a daily basis 9. Use proper communication with others (don’t use offensive language on jobsite) 10. Help maintain company work truck and tools. Requirements for hire: 1. Positive attitude, strong work ethic 2. Ability to work with other and complete jobs on own if necessary 3. Own some hand tools to get started. We can help you acquire additional tools as needed 4. Experience with manual labor, willingness to learn 5.
