We are made to connect. What explains the urge to send a message out to the 'internet' to connect with 'the redhead at Home Depot' when the 'missed' part of a missed connection is the failure to initiate. I decided to initiate. I made a plan. When I saw a woman that I wanted to connect with I walked up to her, I said to her 'may I introduce myself'? She was taken aback. Her body said ' I don't know how to react to you'. Tell me how you would react to this, if you were approached as I have described. I will tell the rest of that story. I am interested in you, in a friendship. How you live, what time you get up, who you get up with, what matters to you, what is your life like. You are interested and you are interesting.
