Description
Hello world!
I'm a 30 year old guitarist and just left my last band of 5ish years and looking for whatever comes next. Preferably something semi-serious, with the goal of eventually doing weekend or weeklong runs if things go well.
I would love to start or join a project that's a mix of indie rock/pop but can also get loud and isn't afraid to experiment. I love bands like Biffy Clyro, TTNG, American Football, Explosions in the Sky, Mutemath, Minus the Bear, The 1975, Bombay Bicycle Club, that general vibe.
My last project was a progressive rock/metal band out of Philly called In The Presence of Wolves. Together we toured regularly including a full US/Canada run, recorded a few albums, opened for national bands, and received a bit of radio play in a few markets including on 93.3 WMMR. Our music and live videos are available on all the things if you'd like to check it out.
I'm definitely not interested in doing 'the grind' again; playing empty bars on a Tuesday night. I want to release and market music in a smart way so that the demand for live shows is there. I have a full time 9-5 job that I love and wouldn't risk losing unless the opportunity to become a professional, sustainable touring act was in the cards.
Thanks for reading! Feel free to send any demos or samples of anything you're working on.
