Hugh Creed Associates, INC., P.A. is currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our LAND SURVEYING department in the Greensboro, NC area as an ENTRY LEVEL Surveyor/Survey Technician. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of the survey staff assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest conventional and robotic equipment. The position has OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT for motivated individuals willing to learn the skills and technology required of a Land Surveyor. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the survey Party Chief with all aspects of the daily field/office workload. Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations. REQUIRED SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE GED required. Experience helpful but not necessary. Strong mathematical skills. Basic Computer Skills (AutoCAD a plus). Effective communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Record of dependability. Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus. Physically able to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions. Lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Available for overtime as required. Flexibility in work assignments and geographic locations (travel for extended periods (with per diem) will rarely be required).
