Description
Cupcake is a nearly perfect dog looking for a new family! She is fully vetted - heartworm negative, all shots current, spayed, microchipped. The vet estimates her to be middle aged. She is housebroken and has very polite, quiet manners. She likes dogs and cats, not chicken safe.
She was a neighborhood stray for years, and a friend of mine fed her. When my friend moved, she asked if I could foster Cupcake and get her into a real home. All her records are with Alvarado Veterinary Clinic. She has been through some hardships; she is very docile and submissive, and cowers or hides when there is a lot of noise or activity. So a quiet home would be best. It takes awhile for her to really trust, but I have never met a more gentle, big-hearted dog. She’s very beautiful, too!
Like most huskies, if she gets out she will run a very long way, so solid fencing and a familiarity with that issue is a must. She is picky about her food; I use a “topper” to encourage her to eat. She doesn’t pull on her leash. She is a real couch potato most of the time! No crazy antics from this one! She does require brushing to keep the shedding under control. The only time I’ve heard her bark is in her sleep.
I am asking a $50 rehoming fee for Cupcake, which is way less than what vetting a dog costs, of course! She comes w heartworm preventative and her vet records. I want to be careful about where she goes, so write and tell me about your family and home - if you own/rent, people and animals in the home, your yard, etc.
