Extend Driver Seat Track for More Leg Room

Anyone out there have the ability to do this? 2008 Kia Sedona, Need 2" more leg room. Possibly extend the seat track using U channel. Or fabricate some sort of bracket to re-bolt the seat down a couple inched back. I saw an old post somewhere someone did this: "I recently modified the tracks on my Kia Sedona and gained 4" of legroom, with no welding required. I did have to have some steel U channel made, and took that to a local machinist to have 1" holes cut"
