The prospects of future business opportunities are endless and we are excited for the chance to offer other entertainment events. We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a part-time valet. Seeking a team-player with a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays). Currently it is a Wednesday / Thursday. Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. Must be able to pass a drug test, MVR and have a clean criminal background to qualify for a State of Florida Para-mutuel Racing License. (Felony violations will prevent the state from issuing license) Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. OVERVIEW: Greeting patrons as they arrive at valet and park their vehicles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : * Assist people in and out of vehicles, drive and park a variety of vehicle * Aid and assist patrons with wheel chairs and motorized cars, etc.; direct patrons to proper destination * Perform other duties as assigned by Management QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: · Valid Florida drivers license required · Operation of a variety of vehicles including stick shift · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Basic math and money handling skills PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: * Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws * Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance * Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others * Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency * Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior * Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted * Respond in a timely manner to all guests and employees WORKING CONDITIONS: * Potential exposure to outdoor / indoor elements and air conditioning / heat * Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching * Occasional lifting of patrons when assisting them out of their vehicles * Consistent running to and from vehicles * Flexible work schedule * Overtime work on "as needed" basis WE OFFER: * Competitive Salary * 401k * Great opportunity for growth and advancement * Fun and challenging work environment Derby Lane 10490 Gandy Blvd St. Pete, FL 33702 DFWP / EOE www.derbylane.com
