Remi is available for adoption through Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue. She is an adorable 6 month old Airedale Terrier/Hound mix who currently weighs about 28lbs. It is estimated she will be around 50lbs once she is full grown. Diamond's Friends hit the pause button on promoting Remi for adoption as we worked with her on some basic training, but she's now ready to find her family! She is doing amazingly with potty training and will go to/run around in circles at the door when she wants to go out to do her business. She is sleeping all the way through the night about 80% of the time without needing a potty break. Remi is super smart and great with other dogs. She has been enjoying trips to the local dog park and plays well with others. She knows how to sit and is working on down and stay. She’s also learning how to be calm in the house (she’s a puppy so everything is exciting and she would love playtime to last forever!). She is a velcro dog and wants to be with her people. She is great in the car and loves to go on adventures. Her new go-to activity is taking in the sights, sounds and smells at Fashion Island. She walks well on a leash when you use an easy-walker harness. Basically if you are looking for a sidekick who will be totally loyal to you and go with you anywhere, Remi is your girl. Remi needs someone who will understand her puppy energy and be willing to put in the time needed for training. She's going to be an amazing dog with the right guidance.
