Moving from COVID stress to a better state of mental health.
We all remember the moment we learned that Covid 19 had reached our shores. For most of us, it
meant a sudden and meaningful life change. Most if not all kids retreated to their homes to learn
virtually. We, too, may or may not have found ourselves at home, working virtually. The Pandemic
created a huge change in our daily rhythm and clearly affected most people’s mental health.
Clinical
Psychologist, Dr. Michael Mazius will discuss the reasons why Covid 19 created stress and adverse
changes in mood, likely or potential lasting effects, and most importantly, lessons learned and practices
we can grow to make ourselves and our kids more mentally healthy than ever as we find ourselves
entering a post Covid world. Please join this in person program. Following the presentation, Dr. Mazius
will make time to address questions. He’s curious to share what he has learned from research and
clinical practice during the past year and a half and hear about our and our children’s experiences.
