Join us for a very special musical performance of “Underground Railroad” by Nzinga’s Daughters. Experience the creativity, ingenuity, and perseverance employed by African-American slaves in their efforts to shepherd runaway slaves to safety. Nzinga’s Daughters perform at a variety of community events and major arts and cultural venues in New England, and Ghana, West Africa. Their program includes a variety of African, Caribbean and African-American music, drumming, storytelling and poetry. This is a performance you won’t want to miss!
