City of Solon mission is to provide an opportunity for local farmers, food producers, and artists to sell their products directly to the consumer in a clean, friendly and community oriented environment. Our vision is to build relationships amongst our agricultural community by bringing together farms, local businesses, families and organizations to encourage a sense of community. The Farmers Market is an important asset in our community; allowing farmers, food producers and artisans to connect with customers directly. The Farmers Market provides a place for consumers to learn more about where their food comes from. Here, the community has the ability to connect with the farmers, and get back in touch with the productivity of our small local farms. By purchasing from the farmer, you skip the middle man and directly support the farmers, and you eat fresher! The Farmers Market also allows local small businesses, including artisans, bakers, crafters, etc., the opportunity to showcase their specialty items to the community. The Farmers Market helps bring the Solon Community, as well as visitors, to our local businesses and provides a gathering place for the community. We want to create some of the BEST music concert, and festivals for all our MUSIC LOVERS.
