looking for singer/lyricist

I write music. I'm predominantly a guitar player. I try to bring diversity to the sounds I make. I DO NOT hone my sounds around "folk" or "country" or "metal" or "blues"- they can all play some complimentary role in what I do. I DO NOT follow top 40 formulas, and I find rap intriguing but foreign to my creative universe and therefore not interested in incorporating, but if you're a rapper looking for guitar licks, theres a slight chance you could interest me- but you'd be better off finding a more enthusiastic person. OK? so, psychedelic, jazzy, perhaps older familiar sounds like the later/ solo Beatles, 70's, (I'm humbly admitting not being revolutionary in my playing) but also as weird or alternative as necessary, or even some industrial/electronic sounds. I'd like to have no creative constraints, but we all do. I'm kinda hoping someone just writes and wants to find someone interested in their writing, where we could collaborate putting it into form. If you're a musician, great- this IS the musicians postings- there's just that weird thread thing for poetry on CL I just don't get, so I'm looking here. Some people surprise me with use of seemingly tired cliches, but maybe there's an english major or 2 trying to put their degree to use....I'm of the older circuit (51yo), not musically trained, just doing my best to play something I haven't heard. I tend to connect with sarcastic/sardonic but not-angst-ridden types, but I don't judge until I hear what people bring to the table. I'm open to working remotely or together- my place IS an option early weeknights/ weekends. I'm NW 128 belt in Bedford. I currently have other players/singers without a drummer (yes, we're looking) trying to keep a project going. You could join us or we can work on other material you and I have separately. I use Logic DAW and can send samples. I expect a worthy lyricist knows how to use words to not seem like a waste of time when they reply to a post.
