This show is culminated with an all-star lineup. Cabo Frio is leading the show, and has some great guests performing with them. Special heartfelt tribute to all of these artists and individuals Spyro Gyra former bandmates of Cabo Frio on MCA records. Spyro help form the style of Cabo Frio back in 1979 and opened up the jazz radio market to this new form of jazz then. George Feltman was the leader of the very popular funk dance band Atlas from Syracuse NY. He was loved by many musicians throughout the New York State area. He passed away unexpectedly in December of 2020. He was 63 years of age. James Smith of J &E Grocery, the uncle of Cabo Frio's leader Curtis Kendrick. James Smith owned the first black grocery store of it's kind in Rochester NY. The simple commercials helped him and the store achieve broader recognition, even internationally. Comedian Tom Green mentioned seeing them as a kid growing up in Ottawa, Canada (where they could pick up Rochester TV stations). Several people commented on Facebook about the commercials, many of them quoting long-familiar lines linked to unfamiliar foods.
