Wanted: golden retriever pup or young dog.

Looking for a reasonably priced (pet quality) golden retriever pup. It would be great if a reputable breeder expects to have a litter ready late November or around Christmas so I could meet the parents to evaluate temperament before putting deposit down. Will consider a young dog--under 2 years old with a great, calm, friendly-to-all temperament. I am a CNA (interpret I am not wealthy) and the pup will be trained as a therapy dog by a top trainer to accompany me to client homes, nursing homes and children's hospital. This trainer is NOT cheap and pup will have the finest vet care, excellent diet and TONS of love from me and my clients. I'm not looking for a cheap, backyard bred pup, and am willing to pay reasonable fee but don't need a show quality dog either. Temperament and early, loving handling/socialization is most important and a good breeder will understand this. Ideally parents have been OFA tested and cleared for eye problems and with no history of cancers in the pedigree. Thank you.
