Learn to create a beautiful and professionally styled, fresh floral arrangement made with flower bouquets purchased at a grocery/box store Through the demonstration of simple floral design techniques and one-on-one instruction, students will leave class with a modern floral design bursting with autumnal charm and color. This class is perfect for first time floral designers and flower enthusiasts. Learn the tips and tips of the trade for keeping flowers looking fresh and long lasting. No chemicals or oasis used. This class is led by Master Florist, Trish O’Sullivan. She was the director of the prestigious New York Botanical Garden and one of New York City’s foremost names in floral design for the past 30 years. Admission is $95. Members get a 10% discount at check out! All floral material will be provided, however you will need to bring floral clipper, scissor & tape. All participants will be required to wear masks. We currently offer several core programs to the youth of the community including school programs, after school programs, outreach programs and a summer camp. The Nature Explore Classroom, an outdoor classroom, answers the profound need for connecting young children with nature. Another great educational tool, the Bartlett Arboretum’s Herbarium and Research Library is a collection of more than 6,000 sheets of preserved plants from around the world dating back to 1887.
