We’re honoring Megan Neher, KC IABC’s Arthur Lowell Communicator of the Year, with a social hour and charitable event at her place of choice - Heart to Heart International. Meet with Megan and chat with your peers while participating in a fun philanthropic hygiene kit assembly project. We’ll also enjoy a drink and hor d'oeuvres, plus get a look around the amazing headquarters of the global humanitarian aid organization headquartered right here in our metro. Please be considerate of others and wear a mask when possible. Note: The 119th Street bridge over I-35 is closed. Depending on which direction you are coming from, you may want to take College Blvd. to Renner Blvd. About Our Lowell Communicator of the Year, Megan Neher With more than 25 years of practice in public relations, Megan Neher’s experience crosses a number of market sectors and includes international companies and smaller enterprises alike. In her career, Megan has managed corporate communications for an international public company, served as an editor and journalist for a daily newspaper and acted as a public relations supervisor for a large advertising and public relations agency. Today, she's the owner of Megan Neher Public Relations, an award-winning boutique PR firm specializing in strategic planning, media relations and social marketing content for a variety of consumer and nonprofit clients. Her company’s approach focuses on offering creative and innovative public relations campaigns customized specifically for each client. Megan recently completed her master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Kansas, and works as an adjunct communications instructor at area colleges. KC IABC and our approximately 150 members are a part of a global network of 15,000 business communication professionals in more than 80 countries, who are dedicated to improving professional growth and strategic communications. Our focus is providing our members with professional development, networking, career opportunities, student chapters, special interest groups and professional accreditation.
