BLUES at TUN TAVERN features an aura of GOOD BLUES & R&B MUSIC. The MARINE CORPS LEAGUE - "HOWLING MAD DETACHMENT #93," recently purchased the VFW located in the town of Merrillville, In. Recently I became a member of this distinctive Veterans organization. After looking over the area and its potential, I decided to offer my skills in concerts/promotions and put on a BLUES/R&B SHOW, behind the facility in the massive grass area. We have in-store for the afternoon, a full show with R&B Band, The Solid Playaz feat. John JD Davis: Mr. Excitement "Theo Huff:" Southern Soul Party Man, Steven "Ice Buck" Powell and Chicago's Soul Man, Vance Kelly and The Backyard Band. Keeping the music flowing through intermissions, DJ Dark Nite. Bar and Food Trucks will be available. So come on out, bring your lawn chairs, blankets and small tents and enjoy the 1st of many public events brought to you by members of the MARINE CORPS LEAGUE.
