Now, we’re bringing Eli’s newest and wildly fun yoga experience themed, "Get Over Yourself," to Venice Beach for West Coast fun-lovers in a place like no other, overlooking the beautiful Venice beach at Hotel Erwin. For the past five decades, Hotel Erwin has been a window into this wonderfully weird world that is Venice Beach, welcoming travelers of every description from across the globe. From the friendly, approachable vibe to the eclectic, diverse atmosphere, come and find out why Hotel Erwin is the place to be when you’re in Venice Beach. *"Get Over Yourself" is a culmination of everything you love about Drunk Yoga®'s signature wine + yoga experience, with bonus silly n' subversive yoga drinking games to shake off your quarantine and turn #selfcare into a #communitycare celebration. High five! (Like, IRL!) THE ORIGINAL DRUNK YOGA EXPERIENCE: NYC's original Drunk Yoga® phenomenon, created by Eli Walker, is a social, interactive yoga experience that fosters inclusivity through community-building. We help newbies experience yoga without fear, and seasoned yogis reconnect with the practice sans pressure to be perfect. A brief “happy hour” is followed by a beginner-friendly 45-minute vinyasa sequence with beverage in-hand—often wine, sometimes juice or coffee, and always fun! Our mission is to inspire joy, cultivate community, and bring you back to yourself. We invite you to laugh, let your hair down, and enjoy this potent union of yoga and social ritual. #namasteresponsibly This 90-minute class is for both newbies and seasoned yogis alike! FAQ: Q: Okay, so this sounds awesome, but I don't like wine/prosecco. Could I drink something else? A: Absolutely! While alcoholic beverages other than wine or prosecco are prohibited from this event, you can absolutely drink coffee, juice or water! The name of our company sounds provocative, but the "drunk" part of Drunk Yoga® simply implies that we're all about "intoxicating" yogic convention by making it social and interactive. So, you do you, and fill your cup with whatever brings you joy! Q: I've never tried yoga before...am I going to...you know...make a fool of myself? A: Of course not. This class is designed to be a "let-your-hair-down-and-smile-while-you-stretch" kind of class. Don't worry about a thing! Q: Does Hotel Erwin validate parking? A: Yes! Q: Do I need a yoga mat? A: Yes! Please bring your own yoga mat, as rentals will not be provided for safety purposes. Q: Does the class take place on the roof or indoors? A: The class itself will take place indoors, but each participant will receive a wristband that gets them a free drink + discounts on food at the High Rooftop Lounge after the event! :) Q: Can I drink before the class begins? A: Nope! Again, we're getting "drunk on joy" and a lil' "drunk on community" here, not "drunk on booze"...Sorry, no pre-gaming! More Q's? Email [email protected] or visit www.dodrunkyoga.com.  “Drunk”: intoxicated [with joy]; excited or elated to the point of enthusiasmYOGA, BUT MAKE IT FUN.™ At Drunk Yoga®, we’re all about connecting communities and cultivating joy through fun, interactive yoga experiences…now virtually! So…what’s “drunk” about Drunk Yoga®? Only the way in which we “intoxicate” the convention of a traditional yoga practice by making our events social and interactive for community-building. We do this by infusing uplifting games and icebreakers into our beginner-friendly yoga classes with beverage in-hand—often wine, sometimes juice or coffee, and always fun. We invite you to let your hair down and enjoy this potent union of yoga and social ritual. #namasteresponsiblyWant to book a private event? Email [email protected] to learn more.
