It's time for another SBS in Funkytown on September 17th This is a redpoint bouldering competition with an exciting onsight finale It's time for another SBS in Funkytown on September 17th! This is a redpoint bouldering competition with an exciting onsight finale at the very end! Doors open at 6 PM, pre-registered climbers pick up their scorecards. Ages 16+ for competitors, please! Climbing starts at 7 PM, and y'all will have until 10 PM to crush as many of our freshly-set, super dope boulder problems as possible. Turn your scorecards in at 10 PM sharp! After some quick math from the scorekeepers, the top five competitors in the male and female Open categories will climb in our onsight final at 10:30 PM. And then that's when the party really starts! We'll have kegs on kegs for you guys to enjoy, as well as tasty food. Please bring your ID if you plan on drinking. Grab your spot now, we are limiting competitor spots to 150 and spectators to 50. Competitor passes are $25 each, and spectator spots are $20 (comes with free food and beer!)  Category breakdown: Beginner: VB - V2 (White, Green and Yellow) Intermediate: V2 - V4 (Red and Blue) Advanced: V5 - V8 (Orange and Purple) Elite: V8+ (Pink and Black) For some more incentive, here are the prizes (men and women are in separate categories!) Open category (Cash prize): 1st prize - $100 2nd place - $75 3rd place - $50 4th place - $25 5th place - $10 All other categories (Summit Gift Card prize): 1st place - $25 2nd place - $10 3rd place - $5 Here's how this redpoint competition will work: You will be able to climb as many boulder problems as you want as many times as you want. Each boulder problem will have a point value to it. Your top five boulder problems count as your total score. If you flash the boulder (send it first go), then you get a bonus! Honor system, so please no cheating! For those not looking to compete, but just cheer on your friends as they crush, we also have $20 spectator passes available that get you access to the food and beer, as well! Show up after 10 PM to watch finals, and spectating is FREE!  Feel free to contact us with any questions!
