Highland Park High School students to "Paint the Town Blue" in honor of their homecoming on September 11th
The Downtown Highland Park Alliance and Highland Park High School PTO join forces to “Paint the Town Blue” in honor of Highland Park Homecoming September 24+25, 2021. Over two-dozen HPHS student clubs are tasked to envision each storefront window and will bring their artistic process to life on September 11 from 3-4 PM. The students will enjoy a Post-Painting Party in Port Clinton Square from 4-6 PM with DJ, Pizza and more!
“After missing out on many activities in 2020, we wanted to create something special to show our community spirit and support for our High School for everyone enjoy,” says Lilla Daniels, member of both the HPHS PTO and Downtown Highland Park Alliance Board. “We joining forces to paint the town blue, we know we’ll bring people together to support our schools, businesses and each other.”
Over 400 Highland Park High School students, representing over 30 school clubs will paint over 30 Downtown Highland Park business windows.
