Description

A night of sacred music performed by local choirs and professional musicians and vocalists. All proceeds will be donated to charity There will be two Acts (~50 minutes each) separated by a 20 minute Intermission. The first Act will consist of choirs and organists from the Raleigh area. The second Act will be professional musicians and vocalists performing Tomás Luis de Victoria's Officium Defunctorum (1603) (also known as Victoria's Requiem). There will be a silent auction and light food and refreshments served before, during the Intermission, and after the concert. This event is a fundraiser for the Raleigh Clergy Retirement Fund.
