Join dog lovers from Cedar Rapids/Marion and beyond on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10am – 1pm at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids for a fun- filled day of strolling in the park, visiting local vendors and animal welfare groups, noshing on tasty treats and refreshments from local food trucks and of course, our always popular Howl-o-ween Canine Costume Contest! Pet Fair Vendor Booths Exhibitors will be on hand, many of whom will feature pet-related products or services. Chow (Chow) Town! The Friends Helping Friends Foundation of Cedar Rapids (FHFF) is a nonprofit support organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for both the citizens of our community and the four-legged companions of the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control Center.  FHFF has provided valuable, professional trainings for staff, volunteers and the public, trauma veterinary care for neglected, injured or health compromised shelter animals, much needed equipment for the shelter's surgical suite, and comforting life-enrichment furniture and outdoor exercise for shelter animals.
