If you love turtles, come meet turtle volunteers to learn how to get involved with local conservation efforts while cleaning up the beach! Join Sea Turtles 911, a grassroots charity run by local volunteers, at sunset for a beach clean-up event at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park on the North Shore. Local turtle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to network with turtle conservation volunteers and participate in a beach clean up event, learn about the threats sea turtles face, and how we can work together on Oahu to help the endangered species globally. Gloves and buckets will be provided. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothing.
