An opportunity for farmers in and around Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties to gather together. Join the White Buffalo Land Trust team for an evening of farmer-focused conversation! Refreshments will be served, but you're welcome to bring your own. Come meet fellow farmers and learn more about what's happening in agriculture in our region. There will be opportunities to learn more about our flagship farm in Summerland, but most importantly this is a gathering for connection and strengthennig our collective network. We look forward to having you out to the farm! Agenda : 5:00 PM - Welcome + Introductions 5:30 PM - Brief Farm Tour 6:15 PM - Food, Drinks, Conversation and Connection A Foundation for Regenerative Agriculture White Buffalo Land Trust practices, develops, and promotes systems of Regenerative Agriculture. We focus on the growth of healthy soils, the restoration of water cycles, carbon sequestration, remediation of toxins in our food system, and the increased nutrition and resiliency of plant and animal production. With our employees, partners, and volunteers we engage in direct land stewardship, education and training programs, ongoing field research, and exemplary product development.
