Medicaid Expansion: What You Should Know (Part 2) Break*Down educational luncheon by PCRW seeks to: break down political issues, give you the raw facts, cover hot topics, provide excellent speakers and give monthly congressional updates. All are welcome! The Pennington County Republican Women will host Sarah Aker the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) for their monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the second-floor ballroom of the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City. The presentation will focus on Medicaid Expansion in South Dakota. SDAHO is part of a bigger coalition “South Dakotans Decide Healthcare” that is working for the passage of Medicaid Expansion in South Dakota. Sarah Aker, who serves as the Director of Fiscal Policy for the SDAHO will be on hand to present information and answer questions. Prior to her role with SDAHO, Aker worked for the Department of Social Services and the Medicaid program. The monthly meeting will take place on Thursday Sept. 16 from 11:30am – 1:00pm on the second-floor ballroom of the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City.
