Join the Rapid City Nikko City Sister City Association and Sumo Japanese Kitchen in celebrating World Sake Day in Rapid City! World Sake Day
Join the Rapid City Nikko City Sister City Association and Sumo Japanese Kitchen in celebrating World Sake Day in Rapid City! World Sake Day, or NIHONSHU NO HI is traditionally celebrated on Oct 1 as a tribute to the fermented beverage we all know and love.
Sumo will be preparing a sushi sampler and we will pair 5 special sakes direct from Japan. RCNCSCA member and sake enthusiast, Nate, will give a short introduction to sake, sake varieties and answer questions! Attendees will receive a commemorative sake cup and be eligible for a door prize. All proceeds will help support the Rapid City Nikko City Sister City Association.
It is said Sake is best served with friends, bring your own or meet some new ones!
Must be 21+
Tickets will need to be purchased before the event. No day of ticket sales.
