An event to raise funds for Bullets and Bandaids, an art exhibition of collaborations between veterans and civilians touring the Carolinas. We are a veteran-centric art therapy nonprofit whose focus is to facilitate veteran/civilian relations through a collaborative, touring art exhibition covering the Carolinas. By having local veterans from selected cities tell their stories, local civilian writers writing them, and local civilian artists creating a piece based on them, along with the book that encompasses the show, we reinforce on both a micro and macro scale that we are all sharing a common human journey, and that there is both support and responsibility in that acknowledgment. This event provides food and drinks, music by Cola Jazz, and will have a silent auction for works of art from locally known artists.
