Description
Hello,
I have a solid cherry wood China cabinet that I love, but there is a decorative wooden embellishment (kind of in the shape of a triangle) on top that I just really don’t like and I am looking for someone who is comfortable working with wood who can possibly remove it. As far as I can tell (I do not have woodworking experience), it is glued on but not screwed in, but I honestly don’t know and you will have to assess the way it is attached and the best way to remove it/if it can be removed. You do not have to refinish the surface since it is so high that it won’t be visible, but I would prefer that it was at least sanded down to blend in a bit. You will need to provide any required tools. I would provide a picture, but the hutch is in my storage unit and I forgot to take one prior to posting. I will pay you $20 to check out the piece and see if you think removing the top is possible, and an additional $40 to actually remove it. $60 if it is genuinely a labor intensive/time consuming job (honor system). Email me if you think you might be able to help. Thank you for reading my post!
Thanks again,
Jenna
