We seek entry-level employees for routine and semi-skilled Grounds Maintenance work throughout the Austin area. Benefits include paid holidays, one-week paid vacation after one year of service, and a $500 signing bonus for those who show reliable performance after six months of employment. Hours are typically between 7:00am and 3:30pm, five days per week. We will consider experienced and non-experienced candidates who either know or are willing to learn how to operate zero-turn mowers and manual lawn care tools safely and effectively. We will also teach you how to maintain equipment in good operating condition. Employees must be reliable and able to work well in a team environment. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Conduct basic lawn care tasks, including, but not limited, to mowing, lawn trimming, tree trimming, raking, leaf removal, hedging, and cleaning flower beds. • Upkeep of all hard surfaces including driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, patios and steps, including but not limited to sweeping, blowing, and edging. • Litter and debris pickup. • Proper and safe use of miscellaneous lawn and garden power equipment and company trailers and trucks. • Work in a variety of weather conditions. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience preferred, but not necessary if you have experience working outdoors and in challenging conditions. • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction. • Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely, with minimal supervision. • Ability to establish and maintain professional, harmonious working relationships with co-workers and customers. • Valid driver’s license EPSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
