Join us on the shaded INSPIRE Community Cafe patio for some simple, old-school crafting! Pinecrest's Campfood and Cocktails outdoor fundraiser is October 24th, and we need your help whipping up some colorful adornments for the festivities. Participants ages12 and up are invited to grab refreshments from INSPIRE, spread out on the adjacent patio, and explore the intersection of fiber and nature (or wrap yarn around sticks to make God's Eyes). If you need instruction, we'll show you what we know, but if you want to go rogue, we're not going to stop you. The goal is to make an impactful number of God's Eyes in various sizes so that we can create a joyful and nostalgic installation for the October event. When the installation comes down, your works of staggering genius will make their final home at Pinecrest, where they will become part of the camp decor. All supplies are included, but if you are looking to offload some yarn, bring it on! Tickets to this gathering are free, and there are two types. You can sign up to Craft With Us, or you can select the Craft At Home option. Those choosing to craft at home may pick up a God's Eye kit during the Crafternoon, complete it on your own, and turn in ten days later.
