Production Manager Assistant KoKoMo Grills Manufacturers Prefabricated Outdoor Kitchens, Built-In BBQ Grills, and Fire Features and ships Nationwide. We are looking for a Production Manager assistant who will supervise and plan the construction of outdoor kitchens our builders are working on. You will be the assistant to the Production Manager and will have a specific areas within the project site and will maintain Quality Control and keep the pipeline moving at a fast pace while maintaining a safe environment. You must also coordinate with other managers from various departments to oversee and ensure the production is flowing smoothly, as communication is essential in this line of work. It is a construction managers job to oversee all production related tasks and goals in relation to their specific project. They are also accountable for budgeting, equipment managing, scheduling and other production maintenance duties on the project site. A construction production manager must write progress reports and be able to analyze data. Managing workers on site is also an important factor within production management, a construction manager determines what kind of machinery is to be used, when it is used, and whether or not overtime work is required on a project. Overall, a construction manager takes on various roles within a site, and must determine how to utilize and apply acquired skills when necessary to a project. Responsibilities • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements • Work with production workers and motivate to Get the job done • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines • Monitor production to resolve issues • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.) • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc. • Ensure output meets quality standards • Enforce health and safety precautions • Report to upper management Skills Basic knowledge of all basic home construction skills and how to manage guys and prepare them with the tools or supplies they need to be prepared and build new leaders.
