Description

SARASOTA, FL — Traffic will be reduced to one travel lane at the Gulfstream roundabout during overnight roadwork Tuesday, Sarasota police said on Facebook. During this time, the Florida Department of Transportation will work on the installation of a barrier wall, roadway striping, and signage on Gulfstream Avenue, Sunset Point, and Main Street. Work will start at 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue overnight until 6 a.m. Wednesday, police said. Lane closures will be in place and traffic will be reduced to one travel lane in all directions. Northbound traffic at U.S. 41 and Main Street may be detoured via downtown Sarasota depending on the traffic volume. Like what you're reading?
