PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington skyline lit up once again this Labor Day weekend for North Hempstead's annual fireworks display.
The event at North Hempstead Beach Park on Saturday kicked off with a performance by classic rock band Kamellot. The Color Guard was presented by the Marine Corp League of Port Washington Detachment 614, the National Anthem was performed by Manhasset High School Alumna Kate Brady, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Nassau County Girl Scouts Troop 1235.
