STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department is investigating a shooting which occurred in the vicinity of 37 Rose Park Ave. Monday night. Capt. Richard Conklin of the SPD said a 33-year-old man went to Stamford Hospital around 9 p.m. on Labor Day with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper back. "Numerous rounds were fired, and we recovered casings from two different semi-automatic firearms," Conklin said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 203-977-4417.
