                               The Delta Foundation, Inc.                      Announces the Unveiling of the Walk of Fame                                                  at The Delta Cultural Center in Lanham, MD on Saturday, August 21, 2021, Founded in 1996, Delta Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. It operates from The Delta Cultural Center in Lanham, MD, which the foundation purchased in 2009 and opened to the public in 2012.  On Saturday, August 21, 2021, many residents of  Prince George’s County and members of the Prince George’s County  Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, joined in a spirited program and unveiling of a walkway of personalized bricks on the Delta Cultural Center’s Walk of Fame. The bricks were purchased during a year-long campaign spearheaded by Dr. Dottie Chicquelo of Delta Foundation, Inc.  According to Charlene Proctor, Esq., President, Delta Foundation Inc., the impetus for the Delta Cultural Center’s Walk of Fame was to finish laying a strong foundation for the Delta Cultural Center and the surrounding community one brick at a time through generous brick donations!  During the unveiling, all of the proud brick donors to Delta Foundation, Inc. and the Delta Cultural Center had the joy of viewing and reminiscing about bricks inscribed with their special messages.
