Good Tuesday morning Connecticut, At least it's a short work week, at least for most of us. The weather Tuesday is great, an abundance of sunshine and temperatures around 80 degrees. Wednesday will feature some sun and clouds, but then we may see some more heavy rain move in at night. The National Weather Service said scattered thunderstorms and heavy downpours are possible late Wednesday into early Thursday. There is a "marginal to slight risk of flash flooding" in southwest Connecticut, specifically. Some thunderstorms across Connecticut late Wednesday and Thursday may be severe, the weather service also cautions. An inch or two of rain is possible in parts of the state.
