Live-In Nanny in Unique Living Situation

Are you open to living a different lifestyle and start a new adventure on a beautiful island? Does living on a boat sound exciting to you? We are looking for a nanny who wants to be part of a unique and adventurous family. Someone who wants to take the road less traveled and feel stuck in their hometown. We are searching for a nanny who is amazing with little kids and understands the boating lifestyle or is willing to learn. Someone responsible and clear of their role as a nanny. Someone with verifiable experience with children. Our two kids are very active (5YOB, 3YOG). They love water activities so you must be very comfortable in the water. Their schedule would involve doing their homeschooling assignments, crafts, and any other activities you find appropriate. Your position would require that you look after our kids and their needs while we work demanding jobs. You will need to also assist with household chores such as keeping the boat clean, cooking for the kids, laundry, and dishes. The household duties will be shared between you, my husband, and me. You will be an extension of our family. We will treat you like family. Your work schedule will parallel my work schedule. I am not an hourly employee so you must be flexible with the hours you work. Some days I may get home at 7 pm and some days at 4:00 pm. You are free to do as you wish during your time off. Our boat is a Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 Catamaran. You will have a private full/queen-size bed, private shower. We will be tied to a slip/dock at a marina most of the time, with occasional day sailing trips. We will live in a house for the first three months until my husband arrives with the boat in St. Croix, USVI. After these three months, there is a possibility we will relocate to St. Thomas, USVI. The pay will be $550 USD per week or $28,600 USD per year. This includes housing and food. We will cover your flight to St. Croix with a 6-month contract. If you decide to leave after 6 months, you must cover your flight back home. If you sign a one-year or more contract and complete it, we will cover your return flight home. We are a sweet and fun family. We are down-to-earth, open to meeting new people, partying, eating out, exploring new places, and thoroughly enjoying life. We are understanding and feel that communication is essential. If you have any concerns or suggestions, we welcome your input. We ask that you’re upfront with us, and we will do the same. We are fully vaccinated. We do require the person to be fully vaccinated. I work in health care, so my family and my patients need to be safe and protected. We do require references, background checks, and drug testing. You must have a US passport or US Green Card and be willing to take the covid test as this is required from travel country to country.
