Press release from College of Charleston: August 27, 2021 The 2021-22 academic year is in full gear at the College of Charleston. From move-in to Convocation to the first day of classes, here are a few highlights from the past week. New and returning Cougars moved into the residence halls on Aug. 20-21, 2021. Welcome home! A special Convocation ceremony for second-year students took place on Aug. 25, 2021, in the Cistern Yard. Students enjoyed food and fun at the campus street festival Maroon Mayhem before heading to class on Aug. 24. Students were all smiles for the first day of classes on Aug. 24, 2021.
