MOKENA, IL — A structure fire was reported Tuesday in the 21000 block of St. James Court in Mokena, according to a Frankfort Fire Protection District official who responded to the call. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but the official said it could be related to the strong thunderstorms that swept through the area Tuesday afternoon. The extent of the damage is also unknown at this time, as the FFPD official was currently on site at the fire when he spoke to Patch.
