Ravinia Business District Offers Fall Outdoor Dining, Music

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — As summer begins to give way to fall, the Ravinia Business District's Food Truck Thursdays will come to an end after this week. But that doesn't mean that local diners can't continue to enjoy an array of outdoor dining options and musical performances for weeks to come. A number of local retailers — including Ravinia Brewing Company, Viaggio, Happy Sushi, Abigail's. Baker Boys, and Sally's Nuts — will continue to provide food and beverages while Piero's will continue to offer takeout and delivery options as well. In addition, several openings and expansions are coming to the Ravinia Business District including the opening of The Atelier, the opening of Sophia's Lounge at Abigail's and the relocation of Just Wellness. "In our small little footprint we are so proud of how the Ravinia Business District has come alive these past few years, Katie Wiswald, chairperson of the Ravinia Business District Association and vice president at Highland Park Bank & Trust said in a news release. "With Food Truck Thursdays, new streetscape enhancements and new business openings, the diversity of offerings is something we are all so proud of." Ravinia Brewing Company has a number of upcoming musical performances coming up and the shows will run through the end of October, weather permitting.
