Description
DETROIT — Michigan State Police have collected evidence from a freeway shooting that left a 25-year-old Novi man dead on Interstate 96 and Southfield Freeway on Monday afternoon.
Police said there are no other injuries and they believe the shooting was targeted and not random.
Police have have also not provided a description of the shooter, but said a preliminary investigation has revealed that a witness heard shots fired on the freeway and then saw the victim driver exit at Greenfield.
This follows after a separate freeway shooting happened on Sunday evening at Interstate 75 and Mack Ave. in Detroit, where police said a road rage incident between two drivers led one to shoot at the other. No injuries were reported as police continue their investigation.
